Applicant must be a High School graduate or equivalent (i.e. GED Certificate) and must be at least 16 years of age to start the Massage Therapy Program and the Massage Therapy Extended Program.
You will have to pay the registration fee of $150.00 when you enroll. You will pay a $150.00 book and supply fee before class begins. Tuition payments will begin a month after school begins. You do not have to pay for the program up front.
Tuition payments vary from student to student. You can pay from $100 to $500 a month depending on how soon you want to pay off your tuition. However, your tuition must be paid off before you can take your exit exam and sit for the MBLEX exam.
Students enrolling in either the Massage Therapy Course (602 total hours) or the Massage Therapy Extended Course (802 total hours) will complete 214 of those hours online. These online hours are self-paced and flexible—they can be started before the hands-on portion begins, completed alongside in-person classes, or finished after. This gives students the freedom to structure their academic coursework around their personal schedules.
Because 214 hours are completed online, the remaining in-person hours are 388 hours for the Massage Therapy Course and 588 hours for the Massage Therapy Extended Course. The time it takes to complete these hours depends on how many in-person hours a student chooses to attend each week.
Students will have one assigned hands-on class session per week, which will always remain on the same day and time. This class may be scheduled on a Monday morning, Thursday morning, Tuesday evening, or Thursday evening, depending on the student’s chosen program. That day will not change. In addition to the set hands-on class, students will also attend clinic hours, which are more flexible and can be scheduled on different days of the week.
Clinic days can be chosen by the student and can be scheduled in the morning, evening, or a mix of both. For example, a student might choose to attend clinic on Monday and Tuesday mornings, or Monday morning and Tuesday night, or even Monday through Thursday mornings. Students can begin with as many clinic days as they feel comfortable with—two, three, or more—and adjust as needed. If a student later decides they want to add a clinic day, they can. If they need to reduce their clinic days, that’s also perfectly fine.
We are extremely flexible, and the schedule is designed to work around each student’s availability and goals.
Below is a breakdown of how long it would take to complete each course based on the number of hours a student attends in-person each week:
